Automotive Engine Machinist

Arlington Automotive Machine Shop is looking for a skilled automotive engine machinist with prior education and experience in machining automotive parts and rebuilding engines.

 

Education Required:

Desired Education: Certification or Associates

Mandatory Education: High School Diploma or equivalent  

 

Experience Required:

Prior experience in the automotive industry is required.

 

Job Duties:

• Valve Job 

• Head & Block Resurfacing

• Flywheel & Crankshaft Grinding

• Align Honing

• Block Boring & Honing

• Dynamic Balancing

• Wet & Dry Magnaflux

• Press Pistons

• Install Cam Bearings

• Soda-Blasting / Glass -Beading

 

Shift Schedule:

Hours: 9 am to 5 pm (Monday - Friday).

OT: Optional, but encouraged. 

 

Compensation:

$18.00 to $22.00 hour

Pay is DOE (Depending on experience).
